At night, the spot is great for stargazing, with the Milky Way and star trails making it a real treat for photographers and anyone who loves nature. From the room, you also get breathtaking views of the Kinnaur Kailash range. The staff are friendly, cooperative, and ready to help, and the food is freshly made, flavorful, and cooked really well. Hotel White Castle made my stay in Kalpa memorable. Suggested ratings: ambience and view 5/5, food 4.5/5, service and staff 5/5, cleanliness 4.5/5, value for money 4.5/5, overall 4.5-5/5.

I was there for one night in October and couldn't switch rooms because the hotel was fully booked. Mine didn't have the views and facilities that some of the other rooms offered, so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. From what I saw, the other rooms looked like good value and were in very good condition. The bathrooms were clean, hot water was no problem, and the rooms stayed warm. Staff and service were good too. There was a great view of Kailash Mountain, plus a dining area and parking on site, though the parking lot isn't very big. Seems like a good place for families or friends, and I'd recommend it.

The window in our family room looked out at Kinnaur Kailash, and the view was awesome. The room was clean, the hot water worked, and our stay was comfortable.

The hotel has beautiful views, and the hospitality was excellent during my one-night stay. In the morning my car wouldn't start because of a battery issue, and they helped me with it. Thanks for the help. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The view is amazing, and the food was tasty and hygienic. Every staff member was friendly, and the owner was an amiable, down-to-earth person. Best hotel near Kalpa Bus stop.
