Zostel Kalpa

Mr. Vishal Negi made the service experience stand out. He helped shape our whole visit, suggesting hidden places to explore and what to eat for an authentic taste of the region. His local knowledge and friendly nature made us feel at home. I stayed at Zostel Kalpa with friends, and it was easily one of our best travel experiences. We had a dorm with a balcony, which was a game-changer. We spent mornings and evenings there taking in the panoramic snow-capped mountain views. The rooms were clean, cozy, and suited our group well for both adventure and comfort. The food was consistently delicious in the mountain air, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax together.

The village itself was a unique part of the trip, with its local culture and hidden spots feeling authentic and memorable. The location is breathtaking, with beautiful village surroundings and stunning Himalayan views. Our community manager Rohan helped us throughout the stay. He took us around and showed us plenty of unexplored places beyond the usual tourist stops. He was friendly, supportive, and professional, and made the trip much more enjoyable. I'd recommend this for a peaceful but enriching village experience, and I'll definitely visit again.

I stayed for four days in January 2026, choosing a dorm, though they also have rooms. The communal spaces are generous, with plenty of room in the cafeteria and common room. You can play board games or watch TV. The view is marvelous, and you can see the Kinnaur Kailash peak while having tea or snacks. The atmosphere was friendly, the staff cooperative, and the food delicious and cost effective.

The menu had lots of choices, and the food was great. The location is good too, with an amazing view outside. What really stood out was how well kept everything was: the rooms were warm and cozy, the washrooms clean, and the cafe and common area had heaters that made the freezing weather much easier. Service and hospitality were 10/10, with incredibly friendly, kind, helpful staff. Big thanks to Mr.Vishal and the whole team for such a pleasant stay. I'd happily return. Definitely one of the best Zostels, highly recommended!
