I had a really good stay here and would gladly recommend Begonia to people I know. The staff were great, always doing their best to help with whatever we asked. Paradise, the restaurant right there, was a nice place to eat in peace. If you need a good room in Kalpetta City, Begonia Residency is a great choice.

The bathroom was the one part I wasn't very impressed with, since the toilet seemed broken, but it was still okay. I stayed in an AC room that felt worth the price, with enough space for two, cupboards, a chair, and a small table. I came to Kalpetta for a wedding and arrived at about 4 am. Even at that hour someone was at reception, and they didn't charge extra for early check-in, just the amount shown when I booked online. The hospitality was really good, and I'd stay again if I visit Wayanad.

The tourist spots are about 20-25km from the hotel, and there’s a Nesto hypermarket roughly 300m away. Rooms are comfortable and budget friendly, with room service and good basement parking. The management is friendly, there’s a restaurant in the same building, and the service was very good. I’d recommend it for couples and families.

We had a good two-night stay. The staff were helpful, the rooms were clean, and there was hot water, a TV, and extra mattresses available. The only thing missing was a ceiling fan.

I paid in full but didn't stay because the rooms had no air conditioning, something Oyo hadn't mentioned on its website. Be careful booking here. Oyo customer care was awful too: they kept transferring my call to a higher authority, but nobody answered even after I waited 45 minutes. I'm going to file a case against OYO Rooms in consumer court.
