Coffea Aroma Resorts

The Honeymoon suite we stayed in looked out over a beautiful waterfall and stream, and we really enjoyed our time there. Coffea Aroma Resort is a peaceful choice near the forest and wildlife, with a lovely natural setting. The staff were attentive and very helpful, and Manager Arun was especially helpful. The property could use some minor maintenance.

We came home from a family trip already missing this lovely place. The jungle ambience, hospitality, and food made it one of my best stays. Water flows beside the resort, and just hearing it was a wonderful experience. We travelled in an i20. The last 3-4km weren't manageable in a normal car, so Mr Arun escorted us in a Jeep. The ride was a fun off-roading experience. We arrived around 3pm and got two cottages next to the waterfall. The next day we explored the hills and jungle on a trek. At the top, we could bathe under the waterfall. We came down around 2pm, and a hot, delicious homestyle meal was ready. You can't expect more in a jungle. Later we enjoyed a campfire with good music. Special thanks to Mr Arun, Vishnu, and Arun for their hospitality. I'd love to visit again during monsoon to see greener Wayanad. Signing off for now.

The team made the biggest difference, going to great lengths to make sure we had a good time. The all-inclusive price meant no nasty surprises when we arrived, and the generous food portions were part of our package. The menu changed daily, too, so we enjoyed every meal. The resort has lots of open space, well-spaced cottages, and views of the forest and stream from the cottages. It feels like a four-star resort at two-star rates. A mega thumbs up.

Getting there is an adventure: the resort is 2 to 3 km from the road, and a jeep picks you up. Since it's in the hills and jungle, you should arrive before dark, around 6-7 pm. You might encounter elephants, though the resort is secured with electric fencing all around. There's a private waterfall, trekking area, and campfire with DJ. The food was tasty and the hospitality was good. The trail to the waterfall is adventurous too. Manager Arun was kind, humble, and helpful, guiding us to places within the resort, including the trekking route, waterfall, and coffee estates. The resort members always welcome everyone with a smile. Thanks to Arun and kanan.
