Nivaasana Bed & Breakfast

I called today to book for five families, for my department personnel's family trip. The woman who answered was rude and rushed. When I said the rates seemed a bit high after hearing there was a Rs1000/- charge for breakfast, although many places include it, she raised her voice, called me an idiot, and told me to look somewhere else. I was shocked. I told her, “Ma'am, I am a government servant and I will definitely make a review on your behaviour.” She shouted again and told me to go to hell. She may be the owner, I don't care. If that's how booking calls are handled, your place won't be a favourite with tourists like me. Don't underestimate the caller. Now I wonder whether the reviews here are fake. I just read the owner's reply, and it's really like lol. It's very curious to see how a woman can twist things her own way if somebody reacts. I have one question for this lady: did you call me “idiot” and tell me to “go to hell” or not, when I didn't say any ugly words to you? I called you Ma'am throughout the whole conversation. Please answer that and enjoy. The rest of the story is all your imagination. And one more thing: did I ask for any favour or discount because of my job? I never have, and never would, in my whole life. You quoted Rs 1000/- for a simple breakfast for two. Is that correct or not? I finally found a very fine place near your area for five families. Unlike you, that property's owner responded very well to my questions. During my stay, I'll try to visit your place. If you still stand firm in thinking I threatened you, you may kindly reconsider that opinion.

At Nivaasana we enjoyed a pleasant stay, with a lovely ambience and well-maintained rooms in traditional Kerala style. Rachana was a super-friendly host who was always there to help. The kids and the rest of the family had a great time, and the homely food was delicious and healthy. Highly recommend it!

We had a quiet, homely family getaway in a Nalukettu-style place. Dellu the caretaker looked after us really well and made some amazing breakfast. The host was caring and friendly.

Our first homestay was at Nivaasana, and we spent three days there, really enjoying it. It's a traditional Kerala house, with big balconies and spacious rooms. The owners used some reclaimed or traditionally styled materials, including doors and tiles, to keep its character. The location was convenient, the hosts welcoming, and the caretaker was quick to help with anything we needed. A great experience!
