Temple Plaza

Great location. The bedroom was clean and good, with a spring bed. The bathroom was bad and stinky.

We felt safe and looked after during our stay at Temple Plaza, and the experience was delightful. The staff were especially kind and accommodating, and room service was prompt. The security staff were friendly too. Our deluxe A/C room was reasonably priced for the amenities and prime spot, just about a three-minute walk from the temple's main entrance. The bed was roomy enough for three of us, which was handy since we’re on the plumper side. They also kindly let three women share one room. The washroom was spotless. Brindavan, the attached restaurant, serves delicious, inexpensive vegetarian food. There’s a snack bar for packed goodies as well, though the restaurant closes at 10:15 PM. One small drawback: there’s no vanity kit, so bring your own soap, toothpaste, toothbrush, and other basics. Rao's Super Market is right across the road from Brindavan, about 20 steps to the left when you come out, but it closes at 9 PM. The market area in front of the temple is lively and has mobile accessories. The temple closes at 12 AM, and the area stays busy. Thanks to Temple Plaza for making our visit memorable. There’s quite a bit that could be improved here. The breakfast selection was very limited and not tasty, and the staff didn’t seem competent. Room space wasn’t that great, the bed moved around, and the blankets had a distinct smell. They didn’t provide a laundry bag, there weren’t enough towels, and dental kits weren’t available. I hope this feedback helps them improve.

For a budget hotel, my stay was good, though I wasn’t expecting a five-star experience. The rooms have proper ventilation, and when I gave the staff clear instructions about cleaning, they did the work without any resistance. I had to ask for the sheets and pillow cover to be changed, and there were spiderwebs around that I also asked them to clean.
