We found the rooms neat and clean, with views of the highway and mountains, and there was plenty of parking. The staff were good and cooperative. Malabar Hotel is attached and serves great food. Kanjikode is the nearest railway station, and the location works well for a road trip stop between Kochi and Coimbatore.

They brought sliced fruit and vegetables and a mixture along with the drinks, which I really appreciated after getting tired of tapioca fries at other bars. We had a great time with chicken 65, an omelet, Budweiser and KFB. The staff were polite and served us warmly, unlike at other bars in town. It's at Kanjikode beside the highway, near Malabar Hotel. I found it cozy and relaxing compared with the other bars around town, and I'm planning to make it my regular hangout.
The room and hotel were good, and the food was very good too. Towels weren't replaced and they didn't provide toothpaste. Still, the price felt worth it: an AC room was 1800 Rs for one day, with food not included.
The toilets were yellow, and they wouldn't even give us water. Shops nearby close, and Pallakad town is far away, so you can't easily find water. Staff didn't speak properly or provide toiletries when asked. Worst experience of my life. Don't go if you plan to stay more than one day. I'll add photos of the yellow toilets soon.
