Camp e Khas

We really enjoyed our stay at Camp E Khas in Rajasthan. The tents were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout, making us feel welcome. The camp is in a beautiful desert area with a peaceful, traditional Rajasthani feel. Dinner was especially tasty, with a good variety of local dishes, and the cultural program and overall atmosphere made the stay memorable. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rajasthan for a desert stay.

The staff at Camp e Khas were very responsive and helpful throughout our three-night, four-day stay. When my sister forgot her phone charger, the friendly manager even offered his own. We came from London for three nights to explore Jaisalmer, and the quiet location away from the main road was a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the desert. The tent was spacious and air-conditioned, comfortable as well as charming. The food was excellent, and the chef kindly made us a special dish each day. Evening entertainment was great and added to the atmosphere. It was a truly memorable visit, and I'd highly recommend Camp e Khas to anyone coming to Jaisalmer.

Six couples in our group stayed for one night on 18 Dec 2025, after traveling 700 kilometers. The location and ambience are good, though the entry gate isn't what it should be. The manager, service staff, and cooks were excellent and cooperative. After our camel ride, we took a wrong turn while driving back in our Urbania, and the van got stuck in the sand. The staff came right away when we called and helped get it out. The food tasted good, was good quality, and was served well. Still, serving tea in disposable paper cups and water in disposable plastic glasses isn't ideal. Tea should be in bone china cups and water in glass glasses. The evening singers and folk dancers were good, but there wasn't much variety in the dances. The tents, though given the fancy name "luxury tents," were basic and not luxurious. They're also not so clean, with ants and insects crawling both inside and outside, and the lighting is very poor. I didn't have proper hot water in my bathroom. The electrical connections are in a very dangerous condition: wires are joined using makeshift open connections instead of proper pins, which poses a fire hazard inside the tents. Overall, it was an average experience. Camp A khas organizers need to do something khas. Best wishes.

We had a wonderful four-day stay at Camp E Khaas, Jaisalmer. The people were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent the whole time. The food was a real highlight, delicious, home-cooked, and authentically local. Highly recommended for a comfortable, memorable desert stay.
