I've been staying here for 4-5 days each month over the last 7-8 months, but this time they told me at checkout that the rate had suddenly gone up, without telling me beforehand. If they'd mentioned it when I checked in, I definitely would have changed hotels. The service is still the same: there was no water glass in the room, no towels or soap, and the door mats never get changed. The wardrobes are dilapidated and the washrooms are old, and there are no sports channels on the TV for watching cricket. It felt like they figured a customer who trusts them would pay the extra price out of embarrassment.

The washrooms are awful, the beds are full of bedbugs, and the fans make a really irritating noise. The rooms aren't good. I wouldn't recommend this lodge.

The location and ambiance suit most people, and at around 1000 rupees it's an affordable place to stay comfortably. The frustrating part is that online apps make it hard to find an affordable hotel, and their night booking means you can only check in in the afternoon. The price is about the same as booking offline anyway, so just come and book in person.

We paid 1200@ 1day for a room with two beds shared by four people. It was affordable and somewhat close to the railway station, but the room wasn't very hygienic or spacious. Drinking water bubbles were provided.

The room was kept clean and the service was good. The TV worked for a bit of entertainment, too. Just be aware that the check-in and check-out times are a little strict. It was a nice experience.
