Fabhotel Prime Mansa

The room was filthy, and we left as soon as we could. The sheets were stained and had hair on them, used water bottles were left behind, and the bathroom had grime around the drain, old soap, and used condom wrappers in its little bin. I was so disgusted I didn't think to take pictures, and I still don't know whether I'll get a refund. I just wanted out. We'd booked Prime Mansa Hotel, Kanpur for October 7th to 8th, ahead of an engagement party. The place looked unfinished and poorly kept. When I asked about the room, receptionist Faib Khan was dismissive and wouldn't move us. We were running late, so I asked if the cleaning could be sped up. He snapped, "It will take as long as it takes." He kept snapping his fingers and raising his voice, said he wasn't responsible and that we should contact Mansa group or Fabhotels, then even told us to check out. There was no solution, just an aggressive, disrespectful exchange. The dirty room and appalling treatment, especially from Faib Khan, made this a nightmare. I would never recommend staying here. Avoid it at all costs.

There were cockroaches in the room, which made it feel really unhygienic. It'd be better if they kept the room clean. Apart from that, things were fine.

They cancelled every room and wouldn't recognize our booking confirmations because they had a wedding booked. We'd reserved more than 10 rooms for a weekend gathering with friends. Beware.

We booked through makemytrip, but when we called, the hotel said there were no rooms. It looks old in person too. I wouldn't stay here.
