Oyo 30068 Hotel Kesar Palace

I paid the full amount in advance, but when I arrived the hotel said there was no room and turned me away. The staff seemed more interested in making money through overbooking than understanding what that leaves a customer dealing with. I wouldn't trust this hotel. OYO's response was just a copy and paste, like the replies to other negative reviews. I felt OYO didn't care about customers or the hassle they were put through. The hotel said OYO was overbooking rooms, leaving customers to wait for hours at the counter in the same situation.

Food wasn't good, and I could hear trains about every half hour. The staff were nice, though, and both the room size and the location in gumti no 5 were good.

I waited an hour, then cancelled my Oyo booking, and only after that did the hotel offer me a room at a higher rate. When I first arrived, they had refused entry because they said Oyo's quoted rates were too low. The hotel administration said they had repeatedly asked Oyo not to book Hotel Kesar Palace, but Oyo kept doing it. Customer care didn't respond either. This isn't what I expected from Oyo. Why is the reply coming from Oyo?

The prices varied a lot between rooms even though they were basically the same, with only small changes. The higher-priced ones didn't come with many extra facilities, so the rooms felt much more expensive than what was delivered.
