Govind Bhawan

We were two adults and a child, but there was just one blanket. It was filthy, and the replacement smelled of oil and was just as bad. The bedsheets and pillow covers also smelled foul and were dirty. We ended up leaving in the middle of the night and moving to another hotel, so it was a waste of money and a thoroughly unpleasant stay. There wasn't proper water in the room or room service. Guests had to fill their own water from shared jars. The AC was in terrible shape, wired directly with no remote, so we couldn't adjust the temperature. The bathrooms hadn't been cleaned, and there were visible stains and water marks on the toilet. There was no proper management or accountability, and even basic hygiene was lacking. I urge platforms like MakeMyTrip to verify properties carefully before listing or rating them, since stays like this damage their credibility too. Absolutely not recommended.

The rooms were cramped and unhygienic, and the manager was rude and rough. Staff and management were very unprofessional. I strongly recommend cancelling your booking right away, or it could be harmful for travelers.

For the price, it was okay, but the location and bed made for a bad experience. The bed was too hard to sleep on, and the AC dripped water right onto it. The tea, though, was mind-blowing.

I was fully satisfied with my stay at Hotel Govind Bhawan in Vrindavan. The hotel staff were very helpful and behaved really well.
