We had no other choice because all the hotels in kanpur were full due to the ongoing test match. They charged a good amount compared with decent hotels like Royal Paradise, but the cleaning and housekeeping were pathetic. The owner and staff were too rude and misbehaved when we complained about the service. The washrooms were pathetic, the flush didn't work, and the floor was very, very dirty. The bucket looked like it hadn't been used or cleaned in a long time. The bedsheets and quilt were heavily stained. Refrain from booking it.

Its main advantage is being close to the railway station. I stayed for a day, and nobody came to clean the room. There was no dustbin or bathroom slippers. The TV connection wasn't working, and nobody came to check after I complained. The fan has no regulator, so it can only run at full speed or be switched off. The matrices needed to be changed. The light switches were away from the room door. There were two switches near the door, but when I touched them, I found they were just dummy.

The only responsive person was Chandan from Bihar, who came to deal with the TV remote issue. I called reception multiple times about the AC remote, but finally, at 10 pm, they told me, "Sorry sir, customer who booked room before you stole the remote so you have to sleep with AC at 16 or better switch it off." The service overall was poor. Doesn't deserve even a single star. Don't waste your money.

The bar staff were great, really friendly and easy to talk to, and the doorman was just as kind and helpful. Check-in and check-out were smooth thanks to the welcoming receptionists. The concierge also explained the options for getting to and from the concert. We came by train, so parking wasn't an issue, and Uber was easy and inexpensive. We skipped the restaurant, though it looked nice. We'd definitely stay again.
