At check-in, the staff demanded a large extra payment before letting me stay, despite the cheap price advertised on the OYO app. They argued with me, harassed me, and deliberately irritated me until I paid. Their behavior was rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. Hotel O Shree Narayan Regency, Kanpur (NA, 69/160 Dana Khori, Near Kanpur Central) felt like a scam and a case of daylight robbery. The room was disgusting, with dirty bedsheets, an unhygienic washroom, and bugs crawling around. It felt unsafe and unhealthy even for a short stay. This place is misusing the OYO platform, and it looks like OYO has no control over properties like this. The experience was misleading and mentally stressful, and it completely ruined my stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

I walked away after the man got angry when I refused to pay the outrageous rate he quoted. It was at least four times what a local would pay. Someone also told me the place is used for hookups or is in a red-light district, so maybe it was better I didn't stay. I found a much nicer three-star hotel for half the price. Don't get scammed.

At Hotel O Shree Narayan Regency, Kanpur (NA, 69/160 Dana Khori, Near Kanpur Central), the low price shown on the OYO app turned into a demand for a large extra payment at check-in. When I wouldn't pay, they kept harassing and pressuring me. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and the whole process was stressful instead of helpful. It feels like OYO has no proper oversight here, since the hotel seems able to mislead customers openly. I strongly don't recommend it. Expect to pay much more than the app price, or avoid it.

The service was poor and the rooms weren't clean, which made for a really disappointing stay. It wasn't worth the money at all. This was the worst hotel experience I've had. You may stay at the platform, but not here.
