The pool is huge and well maintained, and the rooms have access to it from the rear entrance. We had spacious rooms, sparkling clean thanks to the housekeeping team, and the front office staff welcomed us. Breakfast was included, delicious, and offered plenty of choices. There’s ample parking on the property and security around the clock. Dee cottage sits right on NH 44, and its signs make it easy to spot from a distance. It’s about 4 Kms from the main Kanyakumari temple, so it’s a quieter place to stay away from the busy town. There’s no full kitchen, but the rooms have menu cards for nearby restaurants that deliver. You can also drive into KK town, about 4 kms away, for places like Maruthi restaurant, Sree Aditti Bhavan, The curry, and Sea view. If you’re visiting Kanyakumari, I’d avoid beach road or east car street, where crowds, traffic snarls, and no car parking can be a problem. Dee cottage offers a premium stay at a reasonable price, with spacious rooms, a top notch pool, and great service. Recommended for couples and families.

We stayed three days in family rooms that were joined through the balconies facing the swimming pool, with pool entry right from the balcony. The rooms were very clean, the staff were kind and experienced, and someone was responsive around the clock. Breakfast had nice options. Dee cottage is on the highway but quiet, with no disturbance. It was bright, super clean, and attractive, and well worth staying at on a Kanyakumari visit. We ate lunch and dinner at the nearby Arafa restaurant, which was good. I’d suggest the management add lunch and dinner, along with BBQ. Overall, a very nice stay, and thanks to the management and staff.

The clean, well-maintained pool was a big plus for our group of 12 kids, who made the most of it. When we asked for an early breakfast to fit our ferry timings, the staff willingly arranged it. Customer service was top notch, and all the staff were very good. We stayed three days at Dee cottage, away from the crowded spots but still close to the main tourist attractions. It’s a great choice if you want a quieter place to stay.
