Vasco Da Gama Beach Resort

Our room service order was good and arrived quickly, and the staff were helpful. The property is about a five-minute walk from the beach, a lovely place for early mornings and evenings. We stayed in the villa, where the rooms were clean and cozy, but the bed is raised and reached by a steep, narrow staircase. That doesn’t feel safe for small children, older people, or anyone who’s been drinking. The washroom is downstairs, so you have to climb down at night. I slipped on the stairs and hurt my backside. Breakfast was disappointing. Because of a gas shortage, the only choices were bread, jam, and idly. Even though we paid for bed and breakfast, we had to eat elsewhere.

The rooms are really pretty and the property is very close to the beach. The pool could be cleaner and better maintained. It’s a good option if you want to stay near the beach, though it’s a bit far from town.

We had breakfast and dinner at the resort. Breakfast choices were very limited, and they could have offered more; dinner was average. The staff service was good, and we had a pleasant stay overall. We were a family of eight, staying from Oct 24, 2025 to Oct 26, 2025 in 4 Exotic Rooms. The location is excellent, within walking distance of Kappad Beach, though the property is around 25 KM from Kozhikode City. The place is a little old, but the rooms were spacious and clean, and there was plenty of car parking.

I got the room through Make My Trip at a low price, around2 k compared with other resorts. It was spacious and really hygienic, and the amenities were nice too. The front office staff seemed unfriendly and unprofessional. Apart from that, staying at Vasco Da Gama Resort was a superb experience, and I really enjoyed it.
