The rooms and lenin were clean and well maintained, and the building did a good job keeping out the cold. There was plenty of parking and a nice lake view. We enjoyed our one night here during a 14 day ladakh ride. The food was the best we had on the whole trip. I kept going back for more custard, the breakfast porridge was delicious, and the aloo parathas would put north Indian eateries to shame.

Being in a remote area, it’s hard to blame them for some missing facilities. Of the choices in Karzok village, this is a good one and the hospitality was too good. The terrace views at night are incredible, perfect for stargazing. Hanle may be famous for it, but Tso Morriri is just as good.

The room had a good view, and the beds were comfy, but it didn’t feel worth the price. It wasn’t clean, there was no dustbin, and the curtains were below average. The bathroom was also below average, and could use a proper cleaning. Brighter lights would help the place look better. Hot water was available in the room for only a few hours when requested. The food area was very ordinary, breakfast was average, and the dinner soup ran out just as we started eating. There was constant shouting from the kitchen.

The room was in very poor shape and completely unclean, with no maintenance. They switched off the electricity at 9 PM too. It was a really bad stay, and a small homestay would have been a better choice.

The beds were comfortable, the food decent, and hot water was available in the bathroom. But we were first assigned a GND floor room that stank of smoke. They moved us when we asked, and the new room had no smoke smell, but the bathroom had no ventilation. You couldn't lock the door to use it without a torch because it was too dark to see. There was electricity for only a few hours in the evening.
