Priyanka in the restaurant was attentive and very helpful, and made dining a delight. We spent two nights at Taj Gateway and had a happy, comfortable stay. The rooms, food, and ambience were excellent, and everything was well maintained. The property is close to Baital Beach, which added to the enjoyment. The warmth and hospitality really suited the name. We’d definitely recommend it.

The activity staff member, Mr. Ashok, was so helpful with recommendations that made our trip a success. I also loved the daily art offerings by Artist Jaydev and can’t wait to come back. The dining hall team kept smiling even when things were busy. Pastry chef Rudra surprised me with chia pudding, accommodating my vegan diet, and Chef Bhandari willingly adjusted many dishes for me. Everything was thoughtfully prepared and very well done. The location gave us easy access to activities, and the airport pickup and activity arrangements were organized so well. Amar Behra checked on us each evening and kindly decorated the room for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. All the staff were helpful.

We felt celebrated on our 10th wedding anniversary, thanks to the team upgrading us to a Villa. They decorated the room beautifully and left a complimentary cake, such a thoughtful touch. The resort has lovely grounds in a beautiful riverside setting, and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. Highly recommended for a premium stay in Bekal.

We also enjoyed visiting Taj Bekal Beach, and the bird watching around the property and play area were nice extras. The property is huge and beautiful, with gorgeous rooms, a fun pool, kids’ play area, and a great buffet. Warm hospitality made our 3-night stay at Gateway Bekal memorable. Special thanks to restaurant team Priyanka, Neha, Amol, and Adarsh for being so friendly. All the staff, including housekeeping, were helpful, which meant a lot while travelling with a toddler. Highly recommended! 😊🌿

The backwater setting is spacious and lovely, and the property is superb. I found it better than its more expensive 5-star cousin, Taj Bekal. Service was great too. Shilshi at the front office, along with Arvind, Thapa, and Priyanka at the restaurant, deserve a mention for their service.
