Hotel Kasauli Regency

The manager was rude and unprofessional, and the food was very poor. The whole place was dusty, and the washroom was extremely dirty. My stay at Hotel Kasauli Residency on 5/10/25 was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Some of my valuable belongings went missing because of staff negligence, and nobody gave proper support or took accountability. Guests’ belongings should be handled with more care. This was a pathetic experience, and I recommend avoiding the hotel if you value your safety and peace of mind.

Getting to this hotel means taking a broken road that’s difficult to approach. The room service was pathetic, the bathroom had no amenities, and the rooftop restaurant Hangout was painfully slow. Even with just our family sitting there, an order took more than an hour. I can’t imagine how they’d manage a bigger crowd if people actually came. Staff were also unhelpful when we asked for room cleaning or anything through room service. For the same cost, Kasauli has many better options. The place is badly managed and unprofessional, not even worth calling a lodge.

We were having dinner with my family on the terrace, but they didn’t provide our table with one of the battery lamps because they had very few. After another table left, I took a lamp from there. Service manager Jai came over while we were eating and asked for it back because the kitchen was closing and they needed to put it away. They argued with us over a lamp, even though there were mosquitoes and no other lights where we were sitting. I complained at reception the next morning and was told I could leave a review if I wanted. Pathetic. I’ll never come back and would tell others to avoid this place.
