Kaithal Resort - Kasauli

The food was good, but the prices were very high. We left with a ruined trip and a zero impression of their unprofessional, unethical approach to customers. Although the property seemed very good, we had planned to stay two nights with another family and checked in with the AC working poorly on the first night. We were tired and the weather was fine, so somehow we managed. The next day, while we were out sightseeing, the AC still wasn’t working. When we returned, I asked about it. Their common area AC, including reception and the eating lounge, was working, but they said ours had a fault and would be fixed in 15-20 minutes. They didn’t have the courtesy to tell customers about this on their own. After 20 minutes, they called to say they were moving us to a new room with a balcony, adding that the weather would be fine in two or three hours and we wouldn’t need AC at night. The AC in that offered room wasn’t working either. I paid for a room with AC and other services, and my stay doesn’t depend on the weather outside. When we asked them to make a final decision, they said the AC wouldn’t work and they didn’t know how long repairs would take, so we checked out. I suspect they had stopped the AC to save money because we were the only guests at the resort. Otherwise, why would the common area AC work while the rest of the floors had no AC? Not recommended.

The rooms have plenty of space, and the scenery looks beautiful from every angle. The resort and rooms are kept very clean. Staff were humble, and the food quality was at its best.

We celebrated our engagement here, and it turned out just as we pictured it. The staff were extremely helpful, the rooms comfortable, and the food great. It’s a lovely spot on the highway, with beautiful views and a wonderful atmosphere.
