The views at the front and back of the hotel are beautiful, and the staff are really friendly, kind, and compassionate. The place is decent for a warm, cozy stay, with good facilities for a low-scale hotel, though it has quite a few flaws. You only get one bucket of hot water, then have to wait a long time for the next one. There’s no room intercom, so you have to call manually from your phone to place orders. The food wasn’t good enough, but you’ll probably be visiting lots of cafes anyway, so it may not matter much. Booking ahead would be a good idea.

The rooms and bathrooms were clean, though the rooms have an old-fashioned feel. The hotel sits about 500 m from Kasol’s busy main street, near Kasol temple, so you can get away from the traffic noise you might hear closer to the street. Staff were gentle, polite, and very helpful. There’s room service and a restaurant, with Israeli, Spanish, Indian, Continental, and Italian food. The dishes tasted and looked very good. Menu prices are a little high, but still affordable and worth paying. You might find a great OYO deal for as little as ₹500 a night for two.

The rooms are spacious and well kept, and the views are amazing. It’s within walking distance of the main road, with plenty of food places nearby. It’s a lovely place if you just need somewhere to sleep and plan to explore during the day, but keep your expectations for service modest. The service really wasn’t up to scratch, the water provided wasn’t good, and breakfast doesn’t start until 8:30 am, too late if you want an early start for sightseeing. There’s plenty of room to improve, though everything else was fine.

We had a roomy, comfortable bedroom and heard no street noise at all. The place was clean and stylish, with great service. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, and they had car parking and early check-in available. It’s a lovely base for exploring nearby villages and the evergreen landscape.

The owner was welcoming and happy to answer our questions about places to visit. Our room was cleaned properly before we arrived and was well maintained. It’s a little away from the main road, but the view makes up for that, especially for the price. Room service was available, though it could’ve been quicker. The owner also kindly accommodated a special request we had. We had a wonderful stay.
