Passiflora Inn

The quiet pool and short walk to Awas beach were the best parts of our one-night stay. The rooftop area was clean, there weren’t many guests around, and the lift is useful if you’re travelling with older family members. The beach itself is peaceful and lovely, with few resorts nearby. For the price, though, the rooms felt small and just average, with no view and stained bedsheets. The property could use better general cleaning, since unused things were scattered around and the fountain water was dirty. The children’s slides were rusty and too unclean to use. There were three carrom boards but only one striker. Food was decent, not amazing, and portions were short. Lunch started at 1:15, but some dishes were gone by 1:40 even though we’d booked all meals. We’d stayed at Joglekar cottage twice before and enjoyed it more. The rooms there were also basic, but clean, and the food used to be the main draw, with plenty of authentic, flavorful dishes. That seems to have slipped. This place is on the same campus and costs more.
