Jungle by sturmfrei Kasol

I booked seven nights at Sturmfrei Kasol hoping for a relaxing holiday, but the stay became very stressful. Hot water, electricity, and even running water were missing for significant periods, despite being promised when I booked. The geyser problems and lack of water in cold weather made things uncomfortable and unsafe. I can share screenshots of my conversation with the property if needed. When I raised the issues and asked for a solution, management was dismissive and unprofessional. They repeatedly pressured me to leave early at night, in very cold conditions, even though they knew I was traveling with another woman and we had nowhere else to go right away. They accused me of taking advantage of discounts, made personal remarks about my “way of talking,” and wouldn't acknowledge the real inconvenience caused by the missing basics. Attempts to discuss the services calmly and factually were met with blame and hostility. Staff also demanded more money and refused a refund or compensation, although I had to shorten my stay because they hadn't provided basic services. The billing was opaque, and I was made to feel at fault just for asking for what the booking clearly promised. This wasn't what I paid for, and I wouldn't recommend it, especially to solo women travelers or small groups looking for safe, respectful, reliable hospitality. Avoid it if basic comfort, safety, and a minimum level of professionalism matter to you.

The staff and manager were always smiling and super friendly, and the WiFi was great. I loved the beautiful mountain view, clean dorms, and comfortable beds. The atmosphere was great too, whether you want to relax or meet new people. I stayed three nights and absolutely loved it!

The hosts and volunteers were wonderful, welcoming people. Jungle has neat, clean rooms and a perfect view. If you're coming to Kasol, you should stay here.

This hostel was comfortable and well organized, with facilities that felt good for the price. Its location made nearby places easy to reach. The rooms were clean and looked after, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and ready to assist. I had a really good stay and would recommend it for a comfortable budget visit. I'd love to come back.
