The view of the Vaishno Devi mountain from the hotel was the real highlight. It made the stay feel peaceful and memorable. The rooms were cozy and well maintained, though a little old, and some modernization and maintenance would improve them. Food was good, and the overall stay was very comfortable. Staff were patient and very helpful with all our questions. We especially appreciated the hotel shuttle, which helped us travel and collect the RFID card for the Vaishno Devi visit. I had a wonderful stay at KC Residency, Katra.

We had a wonderful two-day stay, with spacious rooms and very good food. The staff arranged transport from the hotel to Bhawan gate and back after our Darshan. Special thanks to Sandeep Sharma, who was available by phone for questions about the pass and other things. Thanks for a great experience.

The paid ride to the market was a bit inconvenient, but K C Residency Katra was a peaceful, good-value place to stay. My room was spacious and clean, with a lovely view of the Trikuta hills. The staff were helpful, and the restaurant served tasty hot meals. It worked really well as a base for my Vaishno Devi pilgrimage.

The meal was fresh and really good, and the whole dining experience was pleasant. The staff were very well behaved too. I’d definitely recommend it.

I can’t recommend this hotel. The rooms are extremely old and poorly kept, and they don’t even provide warm water in the room. Even a roadside one-star lodge has better basic facilities. Lunch is served on rigid timings, with no understanding that people on pilgrimage may need flexibility. I tried to adjust, but the service was still very poor. Please trust me, the positive reviews are misleading.
