Oyo 24940 Mahadev Inn

The rooms were unclean, the latch was broken, and there were insects around. Security felt extremely poor, with no CCTV cameras. After my visit to Mata Vaishno Devi, I expected some peace and rest at Mahadev Hotel, but personal belongings were stolen from my room. I strongly believe hotel staff were responsible. The staff took no responsibility and management offered no support. Coming back from a spiritual journey to find I'd been robbed was the last thing I expected. This place is unsafe and untrustworthy. I urge people not to stay here. The management should be ashamed of being so careless about guests' security.

Not a good experience. They made false promises.

The hotel was neat and clean, and the food was excellent in both taste and price. Hot water was available 24/7, and the staff were good and supportive before checkout. It's near the bus stand and railway station. They arranged pickup, but getting dropped at the station was a bad experience. They wouldn't even handle our luggage, and their manner was poor. The attitude seemed fine while guests were in the hotel, then there was a lot of fuss about the drop. Their behavior at checkout is why I'm giving two stars.

The room was clean, and both the service and staff were very good. They offer pickup and drop from the station and to ban Ganga. The location is a bit away from the market.
