There aren’t many shops nearby, so bring your necessities from Chaulkhola or another nearby market beforehand. The hotel’s setting is breathtaking, with a spectacular sea view from the rooms and balconies and a cool breeze. It can make you forget some of the property’s flaws. I think it needs infrastructure improvements, and may already be undergoing them. The staff were pleasant and courteous, with no service complaints from me. The food could use some improvement, though the crab curry was really well done.

The rooms are spacious, neat, and clean, and food can be delivered to your room in tidy packaging. Staff were helpful and polite throughout, with no complaints there. The exterior is soothing, with a cool breeze blowing 24*7 and a breathtaking sea view. You could spend the whole day sitting outside. A few things need work: the air conditioners need servicing, food portions are small for the price, there’s no free WiFi, and rooms can get ants if you’re not careful. Even so, for a short family trip at a fair rate, it’s hard to find a quieter place, so I’d recommend a stay.

It’s a beautiful, quiet place, and you could choose it if that’s what you’re after. The main drawback is how far it is from the main road and bus stand. It takes about 30 min to get there, and getting elsewhere from the hotel is difficult.

The approach road is dangerous and could damage the underside of your car. The rooms are very small, with very few facilities. The toilet was unclean, there was no hook to hang clothes in the washroom, and no mirror for shaving. The AC was switched off from time to time. Food was pathetic and very, very expensive. Staff behavior was so so. I wouldn’t recommend it.
