Raajsa Resort Kumbhalgarh

The pool attached to the room was far too cold, even in the middle of the afternoon, so I wish it could be heated. Aside from that, we loved our stay and would definitely like to return. Our lakeside room had an excellent view, was spacious, and was well appointed. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and feel almost tropical, especially in the rain. Food and service were good, and Mr Rajdeep from Hotel administration was very courteous and personally checked that we were comfortable. Five stars for the rest.

Kumbhalgarh is an underrated destination, and finding this property was a real delight. Its natural beauty, location, and expansive grounds are hard to match, with genuinely warm hospitality throughout. Staff treated us like family and seemed to anticipate what we needed. We especially appreciated General Manager Dilip Nair arranging a complimentary upgrade to a stunning suite with a private balcony, pool, and breathtaking lake views. It made our stay and memories even more special. Dining at Panghat was just as impressive, with excellent food quality and attentive service. We had an exceptional experience, will certainly return, and highly recommend it for a memorable getaway.

The fort-like design gives Raajsa - IHCL SeleQtions a grand heritage feel, and the whole property is luxurious and beautifully maintained. We loved waking up to views of the Aravalis and the lake. The warm, attentive hospitality made us feel like royalty, as you'd expect from an IHCL property. The food was excellent, and they can serve Jain food on request for pre-sunset dinner, Choviyaar. A highly recommended luxury getaway in Kumbhalgarh.

The lake view from the balcony was good, and some people in housekeeping and the restaurant were helpful and tried to provide good service. But the food was average, sometimes below average, and the overall ambience wasn't good. Our room furniture and balcony door were broken, the bed was uncomfortable, and the washrooms weren't great. It didn't feel like what I'd expect from a Taj chain hotel, especially at this price, when there are much better resorts around. I was also concerned about child safety. Some people drove the buggy recklessly without watching for children nearby.
