The mountain scenery and quiet setting were beautiful, and the castle-style property made for a lovely luxury escape in Manali. Service was great, with polite, attentive staff who helped us feel comfortable. The rooms were cozy too.

We were nearly at risk of missing our train after a festival at Mall Road brought transport to a stop on checkout day. Vivek personally drove us to a place where we could find transport, and we made it on time. I’m very grateful for his kindness and thoughtfulness. That care was typical of our stay. Vivek, the manager, and the whole team, especially Kushal, were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. We spent three nights at The Himalayan Cottages, surrounded by beautiful gardens and castle-like buildings with snow-covered mountains behind them. Arriving felt like stepping into a storybook, and it was one of our most delightful stays.

Breakfast by the pool was fantastic, and the food was really delicious. My room had a great view, and the garden was well looked after. There was guest parking, with check-in at 2pm and checkout around 10 am. I loved staying here. The cottage was clean and well maintained, and the helpful staff member suggested good nearby restaurants and sightseeing spots.

The rooms are amazing, and I loved the architecture and layout of this property tucked into meadows with mountain views. Parking was a bit of an issue.
