The food was a highlight, especially the chicken curry, and they can also arrange cooking classes and henna. The pickup service was excellent and reasonably priced. Thanks to yogi for sorting out our train ticket. Junkie house is a lovely place to stay, with clean, spacious rooms just 100 meters from the western group of temples. I’d definitely stay again.

We had a rough time in Khajuraho, with people trying to get money from us and being rude to tourists who looked Chinese. This place was such a welcome change, and we enjoyed our two days here. Everyone in the family greeted us warmly, brought us plenty of chai, and made good meals. Breakfast was healthy, and the fruit salad was delicious. The room was very clean and had the facilities we needed, and the location was great. I only wish the hot water in the shower could be fixed.

Good value for money, with a cozy, clean room and a great bathroom. The building is nice and centrally located, in a pleasant area for walking. Breakfast was delicious, and the family was lovely. We’ll be back for sure.

The location felt safe and quiet, close to the temples and goal maket, with no traffic noise. Inside, the room was set up well and everything was in its place. The washroom was clean, the geyser worked, and the wifi was good. I was really impressed by the helpful, professional staff and their service. I’d like to visit this junkie house again and again.
