We found the hotel good value for money, and the staff were supportive. The dining area had a homely feel. It is also very well placed, within walking distance of the Western group of temples and the Museum.

The big plus is how close it is to the western group of temples. I stayed in a non AC room, and for a basic night on a low budget, it did the job. Still, it is a very basic, lodge-like place. There was no hot water or blanket, and just one plug point for two people. Water from one pipe looked dusty, which made me wonder if the tank had been cleaned. I stayed here about 6-7 years ago, and there hasn't been much improvement since. It could use a little upgrading.

We had a great time here. The hotel is in a quiet spot by the lake, about a 5 minute walk from Khajuraho's main group of beautiful temples. The restaurant had good prices, and we enjoyed the food on our second day, once we were feeling better. The team were fantastic from the start, always on hand to help. They arranged an inexpensive tuk tuk from the train station, and the driver waited even though we arrived 2h late. Since we had stomach problems, they also made us a special meal that wasn't on the menu. We'd gladly come back and recommend it.

A very convenient area, with amenities nearby and the westarn temple within walking distance.
