Hotel Scala

The suite was spotless, and the owners were really friendly. What made the stay for us, though, was the staff. They were helpful and happy to take care of small requests. We also thought the food was the best we tried in Khajurao. Breakfast was filling, and the meals were delicious. The location is a little out of the way, about 2 km from the main road along fairly narrow roads, but we found autos easily and cheaply. I also drove an Innova there without trouble. We felt safe inside the gated complex, where there were plenty of staff around. I wouldn't suggest walking along the outside road late at night, since it isn't the main road, though driving felt safe. I'd stay at Hotel Scala again when I'm back in Khajurao.

Having our tickets to Panna Forest arranged for us made the trip so much easier, and was a lovely extra during an already great vacation. We really appreciated the care from you and your team. The rooms were exceptionally comfortable, everything went smoothly, and the food was a real highlight. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality. We hope to visit again soon and will recommend the property to our family and friends.

Mr. Salmaan was a very welcoming host and looked after what we needed during the stay. The rest of the staff were helpful too. Everything was clean and hygienic, and they paid attention to the little details. A great choice for a family stay.

The village setting gives the hotel a real village feel, and the road in goes through the village. Getting there is still easy: all types of cars can reach Hotel Scala, and buses, tempo travellers, small minibuses, and autorickshaws are available. Its central position worked well for visiting the Eastern, Southern, and Western temple groups. The place was neat and clean, the food was good, and both the staff and service were the best part of the stay.
