The rooms are well maintained, and there’s a common dining area. Staff were polite and supportive. The hotel is within walking distance of Kandala railway station, where almost every train stops for a minute for a brake check. The final 200 metres of road to the hotel are a little rough. I booked through Makemytrip.com.

The road is in poor condition, and it was difficult to find the place using Google Maps. They don’t serve non-vegetarian food, but the vegetable biryanis, curd rice and masala buttermilk we ordered were fresh and tasty. One drawback is that the kitchen doesn’t open until 8:30 in the morning. Tourists in hill stations like Lonavala and Khandala who enjoy an early tea or coffee may want to avoid staying here.

The hotel is very loud because it’s near the expressway. The room was good, though it had old furniture, and the hotel doesn’t serve food, not even tea.

It’s reasonably priced, and the staff were humble and polite, with superb hospitality. Khandala ghat view point, Khandala lake and all the main attractions are within a 3-4 km radius. I had an outstanding experience here.

The atmosphere was relaxed, and my room was beautiful, with a balcony that was nice to unwind on. When I felt unwell and needed assistance, the staff took excellent care of me. 🙏😊🍀💚
