Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty

The service really made our stay. Najrul, our concierge, contacted us a few days before we arrived, arranged a cute surprise in the room, and kept checking that we were comfortable. We enjoyed the gym, sauna, steam room, and pool, and the breakfast spread was huge. The rooms are laid out well, and the backwater view is worth getting if you can. Of the three restaurants, Thai Soul was my favorite, then Malabar Cafe. The Colony had nice ambience but felt pretty average to me. Had an amazing time at the Grand Hyatt earlier this month, definitely a 10/10 and I’d recommend it.

The backwaters around Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty make for a beautiful setting, and the views are breathtaking. I found the rooms spacious, luxurious, clean, and comfortable, with an elegant feel throughout. The welcome was warm and professional, the restaurant food was excellent with lots of options, and service was strong. The staff were attentive, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. The facilities and overall atmosphere suit both a relaxing break and a business stay. I’d happily recommend Grand Hyatt Bolgatty in Kerala and look forward to coming back.

We ended up spending most of our time at the hotel after several days of traveling around India. There’s plenty for young kids to do, and babysitting is available at an affordable price. The spa has a great mix of Ayurveda and international options, and there are both indoor and outdoor pools. I think they also have their own traditional boat for backwater trips. It’s central, so booking an Uber to tourist spots is easy. The food was out of this world and felt very safe to eat, so as a foreigner I wasn’t worried about getting sick. The Thai and North Indian food were the best I’ve ever had. Service was flawless, with staff checking on us multiple times, and the interiors are especially tasteful. Shout out to Prathiga, Nesha, Vidya, Chef Selva, Chef Latha, Frederich, Anand, Debbie in the Playzone, Lucy in the Spa, and so many others!

Pragathi helped everything go smoothly during our stay at the Grand Hyatt Kochi. The breakfast and executive lounge teams were on point with both food and service, and always made sure we were comfortable. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful and has all the modern amenities. Keep up the great work!
