Aboo was thoughtful and welcoming, and the room was clean and really quiet. Even in the heat, the ceiling fan was enough for me, and there weren't any mosquitos or other pests. Great value, with a few good restaurants close by and Princess street just a short walk away. I had a great time.

The owner is a retired sailor, kind-hearted and easy to get along with, and always willing to help. The place seems well known around the area. There are two floors: the top one has three rooms and is probably the best pick, though the first floor is good too. You can park a two-wheeler inside the compound, and food spots, churches, bike rentals, and other things are all within walking distance. For the price, this is one of the best homestays in Kochi. I had no doubts about staying here, and would happily do so again.

The owner is one of the sweetest people we've met while traveling, and this was the most welcoming, friendly stay we had in India. The rooms are very clean, the bedsheets smell great, and the bathroom and toilet facilities seem almost brand new. No mosquitos in the room at all, which made it easy to sleep well. Restaurants, bars, and art galleries are nearby, with supermarkets close too. I can't recommend it enough.
