The staff were well mannered, and the manager was a nice person. It’s only 100mtrs from cherai beach, with a nice backwater view, and I thought the rate was quite reasonable for the location, view, and facilities. The resort itself was average, though. There’s no restaurant, the room wasn’t luxurious, and the bathroom needs improvement. It’s more of a place to hang out, and seems nice for bachelors.

They maintain the resort well and the service is very good, though the restaurant is currently closed. I’d recommend booking an AC room even in winter, since the lake beside it smells a bit during the daytime. Everything else was good. A place worth visiting.

My family and I had a great time here. I liked the seafood, which was cooked nicely, and it’s a very good place for seafood in Kerala. The hotel is very close to the beach, making Cherai beach, a tourist spot, easy to find and reach.

The rooms are clean and reasonably priced, with a great lake view through the window. There’s also a balcony facing the lake, and cherai beach is 200 meter away.

Kadalkara Lake Resort sits beside the backwaters, where you can enjoy fishing. It’s at the Cherai beach junction, with the main beach just 2-3 mins walk away. We only enquired about staying there, but the rates were very reasonable. It looks like a good resort for a family stay.
