The complimentary breakfast was a highlight, with freshly prepared Kerala dishes that tasted home-cooked. We stayed at Kallanchery Retreat Kumbalangi for a couple of days and loved the clean, cozy room and its lovely backwater views. Service was quick and genuinely warm. The place was peaceful but still enjoyable, suited to either a chilled bachelor trip or a relaxed family stay. Thank you, Remesh Mathew sir, for the wonderful hospitality. We'd love to visit again.

The evening atmosphere outside was awesome, though the conference room we used for a birthday party was leaking rainwater. It was raining, the roads were muddy, and since the resort is being renovated, the entrance and other areas were damaged. Maybe it will look good once the renovations are done.

The food was a real highlight. Every meal was fresh, flavorful and served with care. The resort also had a beautiful, calm and welcoming feel, perfect for a relaxing getaway. We had a memorable stay and would be happy to return.
