The food tasted good, but breakfast arrived cold and was self-service. The restaurant needs a lot of work: there weren’t enough tables for the number of guests, the plates and cups weren’t clean, and there was very little tissue paper or water on the tables. I’m also concerned about food hygiene. The property is new, but it’s in a congested area. There’s no car parking, the Wi-Fi is slow, and they provide RO water instead of bottled drinking water. I also noticed a smoke smell in the bathroom and the passage.

My daughter, who’s 22, stayed here by herself for five days and really liked it. The rooms and toilet were very clean, and the food and staff were good. The two women at reception were especially nice. When my daughter went to an ATM around 9 pm, they sent a security guard along with her.

There was a strong cigarette smell throughout the property, and the room hadn’t been cleaned properly. Cigarette ash was even left in the toilet, and there was no toilet paper. On top of that, they first assigned us the wrong room type, only making the correct one available after we completed the process. The place is operated by OYO, but the service was pathetic. That was my last stay with OYO. I won’t book with them again, not even by mistake.

The main hassle is parking for four-wheelers. You have to go to the pay-and-park on MG Road or use the Cantonment pay-and-park. I left my car for free at the latter, near Poona College. I’ll post a photo of a tea shop in that area to help you find it. Premacha Chaha is there, and the tea is wonderful. Inside, the hotel was clean and the food and staff were good. There are different room types; I had a small one, but it had everything a room should have. It’s one of the best compact rooms I’ve stayed in. I’m taking off a star because I expect a hotel to have parking. Apart from that, it was good.
