We stopped for lunch at Le Maritime Hotel, Vypin today. They didn’t have biriyani, so we went with wheat parotta, chapathi, and chicken pepper roast instead, and it was a great call. The parotta was flaky and crunchy, one of the best I’ve had, and the roast was rich, flavorful, and nicely spiced. A cold mocha rounded off the meal, refreshing and well balanced. The calm, clean, pleasant ambience made lunch even better. Really satisfying food and atmosphere, and worth another visit.

We stayed at Le Maritime Kochi as a family and found it comfortable and family friendly. It’s easy to locate, has a great location, and there’s plenty of parking. Check-in went smoothly, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The pool is a little small, but fine for recreation, with a safe setup for kids: the main pool is about 4 ft and there’s a separate shallow pool for children. Breakfast had the essentials, and room service was prompt and efficient.

On my first visit, I booked a Standard Deluxe Room and found it beautiful, tidy, and spacious. I was on the 8th floor, with an amazing view. The hotel is in Vypin, close to Fort Kochi, and there are several beaches around for sunrise or sunset. The pool was decent, breakfast was included and good, and the service was exceptional. I’d definitely recommend it.

The ferry ride to Fort Kochi takes just 5 minutes, so the location was convenient for exploring while staying somewhere quieter. The staff were courteous and humble, and the clean, well-kept room made for a comfortable stay. Breakfast choices were limited because of an LPG shortage, which seemed understandable and was handled fairly. The hand shower in the washroom wasn’t working properly and had some scaling, so that could be fixed. Otherwise, it was a pleasant, hassle-free visit.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Shilpa. They even arranged an early check-in without charging extra. My room was clean and comfortable, and I had a great stay. I’d recommend this place and would come back soon.
