Palm Rivera - Hostel

Before I arrived, I contacted the property and the owner told me my booking through booking.com had been cancelled and the room sold to someone else, with no vacancies. Since it was night, I asked for accommodation anyway. He charged me more and assigned a single room. When I got there, nobody from the property was available, and I had to contact the police before I could finally get into that room. The room was pathetic too. A very bad experience.

There were snails inside the room, and it was filthy and awful. Some of our belongings were there, but they took them. Palm river has very poor rooms. Please don’t stay here, there are plenty of better options. @&₹₹@ onn nirthi poda um&&&(₹ ergiyekan

The room smelled bad everywhere, felt warm, and was the worst I’ve ever seen. They charged a lot and didn’t even refund our money. Terrible room.

The photos the owner or website shows may be from years ago, when the place was new. Cheap rates can sound tempting, but this one really was too good to be true. There’s no maintenance or basic facilities, and you have to ask for every little thing. Staff get irritated even though they should have provided it already. The furniture is broken, the doors have no locks, and the bathrooms are dirty. Insects are everywhere, and damp seepage on the walls caused throat infections for some of us. The whole place feels uncomfortable and unsafe. There are much better options nearby. If you still book it, I guess you’re desperate and have nowhere else to go. Good luck!
