The Thomas Inn - Fort Kochi

There was milk, tea, coffee, and bread waiting when we arrived. The host was so caring about the details that even a few 5 star hotels don't do as much. It's a clean, green place. The road there is very narrow, though we got there by car without any trouble. And don't expect a beach view.

The hosts are as lovely as Kochi itself. The stay is in the Fort Kochi area, well placed for all the tourist hotspots. Definitely recommended.

The house has three bedrooms, plus a living room and a kitchen stocked with utensils and a variety of breakfast items. It’s a lovely homestay in the middle of Fort Kochi, with kind service, and the rates are reasonable.

We were six family members and the setup worked well for us: three rooms, three bathrooms, and a seating area. The service was so good it would earn 10 out of 5 from me if that were possible, and it made up for anything we might not have liked. It’s good value, too. The narrow lanes on the way in may look worrying, but they’re residential and have very little traffic. We got our Innova through without trouble, though we were surprised at first. The place is close to most of Kochi’s sights. One thing to plan for: mosquitoes are a big issue across Fort Kochi, so come prepared.
