Homocation Changghar Kaziranga

We loved the garden’s lovely collection of plants and the space around the cottage where you can relax. The house was neat and clean, the food was delicious, and the welcome from the very friendly owner made us feel at ease. The owner, his wife, and all the staff treated us like family. They can arrange safaris, too. It’s a great place to stay in Kaziranga, away from the busy highway hotels. I’d definitely recommend it.

So peaceful here, tucked a little away from the main road and highway bustle. The bungalow was beautiful, clean, and tidy, and Manav and his dear wife greeted us with lovely smiles. There was so much variety in the delicious food, we were in a food coma :-). Thanks for the plants. Let’s see how they do in Mumbai heat 😊😊😊. Would’ve loved to take a rhino home too 😂😂😂, just kidding. We’ll visit again and stay longer.

The owner sent someone to guide us to the place, which is about 1.5 kms from the main road. There’s plenty of car parking, and we got a warm welcome. Everyone was helpful, and we really enjoyed both dinner and breakfast.

Chang Ghar is handy for getting to Kaziranga’s main sights. It’s in Kāziranga in Assam, with garden views from a balcony, and the airport at Jorhat is 79 km away. There are just 2 rooms, both with a peaceful feel. Our homestay had a kitchenette, sitting and dining areas, and a satellite flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are available for an extra charge. There’s an in-house restaurant, free private parking, free Wi-Fi in all rooms, and 24-hour room service and security. They also offer daily housekeeping and grocery deliveries. Breakfast can be continental or buffet style. There’s a children’s playground, and you can cycle or fish nearby, or spend time in the garden. The property offers plenty of recreational options for a comfortable stay. It’s a charming, convenient choice in Kaziranga.
