The room smelled bad, and even the doors were in worse condition. There’s no convenience nearby, so expect an approximately 800m walk. The curtains and bedsheet were some of the dirtiest I’ve ever seen, with what looked like period blood, gutka spit, cigarette burns, and food stains all over the sheet. Service was refused outright. Maybe it works for a boys’ party, but not for couples.

I had a good experience today at gem 92. The room was clean, and the staff were kind and helpful whenever we needed anything. Thanks for taking care of us. Please do visit this hotel.

You have to clean the room yourself every day because there’s no room service. The rooms also smell musty, and air fresheners don’t help. The beds aren’t aligned properly, and you can feel a few springs, which could leave your back aching. There’s no stopper in the washroom, so shower water runs out. No kitchen either, so you have to order food from outside. OYO says you can use an extra two hours at the start or checkout, but that offer feels like it’s just to fool you.

If zero stars were an option, I’d give that. The website pictures looked nothing like the actual place. If you’re thinking of booking, go in person first to check the room and confirm, or you could get trapped. I contacted customer care after arriving and sent photos as evidence. They eventually refunded me, and I left.
