The Golden Oriole

I stayed at the Golden Oriole for a month and found it especially suited to expat families between homes, whether for a few weeks or months. I’d been looking for a serviced apartment nearby, and this house felt like home, with the comforts I needed. The kitchen was clean and well equipped, the decor simple but elegant and truly India, and I loved the beautiful, comfortable wooden crafted beds. Mobile and internet signal can be hard to get in Vasant Vihar, but I was lucky to have a very good connection throughout my stay. Ajay, the kind and gentle caretaker, helped make it relaxing and secure. Most of all, Seema was a gracious, generous host. I won’t forget staying in her care.
