The property is very good and sits in a great spot, just opposite the Kohora Jeep Safari stand. The government takeover process isn't fully complete yet, so service is affected somewhat. Even so, it's worth staying here.
Great location, and the rooms are big and good. They couldn't offer everything on the menu because of an LPG shortage, which I understood.
I booked by calling the owner, but when we arrived the front desk said the three-bed room we'd booked for 2500 Rs. wasn't available because of a problem. They offered a double room with an extra mattress instead and wanted another 500 Rs. There was no concern shown at all. It felt like they were giving us a downgraded room while charging more.
The owner was nice and the staff were helpful. Safari booking was no hassle, and the food we ordered was delicious. What more do you need for a pleasant trip?
We had a great experience at this homestay. It's conveniently located for restaurants, the market, and safari trips to the national park. The staff were helpful and well behaved, and room service was good. The food was very tasty, and they arranged national park safaris without any extra charge. A good place to stay.
