Hotel Atharv

The room was clean, the food tasted very good, and the staff were cooperative. It was a nice place for a family stay. I’d like to see more menu choices, such as mocktails and more dessert options.

We paid 4.7k for one night, so having to refill the drinking water jug from the Aro purifier outside the room every time was disappointing. We asked the manager if staff could fill a bottle for us overnight and were told they would, but nobody came or followed up. At reception, Mr. Santosh said the owner had set this rule for sustainable practices. That explanation didn’t sit well, especially since the dental kit we received was wrapped in plastic. We had booked through MakeMyTrip, but it didn’t resolve the issues we had after check-in. Basic drinking water in the room should have been provided.

The rooms are small, but they were kept in good condition. The evening receptionist was approachable; the morning receptionist could have been more professional. I don’t understand Marathi, and he didn’t really help me understand what was going on, which felt off for a hotel. For an overnight stay, asking for packed water and two towels shouldn’t be necessary. Apart from those issues, I had a good experience.

The food was bland, portions were small, and dishes often arrived cold. Presentation was fine, but the freshness and flavor weren’t there. Quality and hygiene need a lot of improvement.
