Sampige Resort

The food was delicious, and the resort was kept in good condition. I found the rooms comfortable and tidy. Staff were attentive and always ready to help, which made for a pleasant stay. 😊

Dinner and breakfast were both really good, and the staff were easy to talk to and accommodating. They made sure I was comfortable without hovering. The manager was professional and attentive, and seemed to keep things running smoothly. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean, with the basic amenities already there. Everything seemed well cared for. It felt like good value and a premium stay without trying too hard. I'd recommend it for a comfortable, well-managed visit.

There’s a small play area for kids, and the rooms have private pools. The whole resort feels luxurious, neatly kept, and thoughtfully planned. We ordered vegetarian dishes and they were all top notch. The restaurants seem well put together, with good chefs, and the staff were quick and courteous.

The rooftop restaurant was a highlight for us. The seafood platter was good, and the view was beautiful. We also enjoyed the baby’s first birthday photoshoot at the resort, and spent plenty of time walking around the spacious grounds near the pool. The room balcony had a lovely view, and the hospitality was very good. When one of our group members had an accident at midnight, we called housekeeping. They came, mopped up, and changed the bed sheet right away. Breakfast had a mix of South and North Indian food. We were disappointed by the 31st party, though. We paid 1500 per person for tickets, but it didn’t feel worth it. The food menu was poor, with mushroom as the only vegetarian starter and bone-in chicken for non-vegetarians. The welcome drink was just watermelon juice, and room guests paid the same price with no discount, which was a big shock. Mangalore is a beautiful city, and this is the second best resort.
