Krishna Inn Kolhapur

For the very reasonable price, everything was excellent. It was my first time staying here, and I found the property spick and span. The staff were exuberant and the service level was very high. I enjoyed the non veg food, and Baban Patil and the other restaurant staff were very nice people. A very good experience overall.

We paid ₹8,000 for two rooms and I honestly don’t know what we got for it. The next morning there wasn’t enough breakfast, and hot water and TV service were both unavailable. We’d booked through Agoda, and the booking was a mess from the start. I called ahead to confirm extra beds and was assured they’d be provided. At check-in, around 7 PM, they took payment for them, but we didn’t get a bed until 1 AM, after repeatedly chasing them. There was no apology, just the same “We are working on it.” This place is a joke. Don’t book here. Ever.

The location is good, and the suite has a good amount of space. Covered parking is limited, though, and there seemed to be cost cutting: we got only two complimentary half-liter bottles and not the full toiletries. The staff seemed amateur, and breakfast was just okay. I’d rate the stay 3 overall.

The restaurant food was decent, and Mr Irappa was courteous and generous in helping with everything we needed when ordering. Receptionist Mr Yogendra was attentive and helpful, and the security staff were very well mannered. I’d specifically asked for a good parking spot, and they helped with that too. The hotel was well maintained and staff supported us whenever we needed anything. Thank you all, you made my stay in Kolhapur pleasant, and I also received Godess Ambabai blessings.
