The washroom impressed me, I hadn't expected it to be at that level. The houseboat was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, with lovely views over serene Dal Lake. From the time we arrived, our host Rafiq bhai made us feel at home with genuinely warm care. It was an unforgettable stay.

The washroom was clean and had modern amenities, good ventilation, and steady water pressure. We had three good rooms with basic amenities, and the staff were attentive and cordial. The home-cooked meals were delicious, served with warm hospitality. Set near Ghat no 12, they also provided free pick up and drop service from the ghat. Staying in the traditional Kashmiri houseboat I'd dreamed of was finally possible, with its wooden interiors and cozy cultural feel. It was my best stay, highly recommended.

After long days out exploring, returning to the homemade food and the calm houseboat felt so comforting. The meals were simple, fresh, full of flavor, and didn't feel like typical hotel dining. The home-cooked Kashmiri meals on board were authentic and delicious, and the clean, cozy rooms looked out over the water. Golden Crest had beautiful traditional wood carvings and classic Kashmiri decor, giving it the feel of a floating palace. Sitting on the deck with warm Kahwa while the sun set over the lake was a soul-stirring moment. Rafiq Bhai, the owner, treated us like family, shared fascinating local stories, and looked after every detail. Houseboat Golden Crest was the highlight of my Srinagar trip, full of Kashmiri heritage and tranquility.

We usually stay in hotels when we travel, so spending our last day in Kashmir on a houseboat with my wife felt special and unforgettable. We arrived last night at the Crest Golden Houseboat, and the peaceful, unique atmosphere made the stay a wonderful experience. The place is all beautiful wood, with amazing design and interiors, and has all the necessary facilities. Rafiq and the staff were kind, polite, and friendly. The food was tasty and hygienic. I'd recommend this houseboat to anyone visiting Kashmir.
