The food feels homemade and delicious, and the onboard team is hospitable. The houseboat is comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with classic Kashmiri charm. They also catered to special dietary needs, including no onion-no garlic and Jain food. Try their nadru yakhni and haak in winter. The houseboat sits in a quiet, peaceful part of Nigeen Lake, away from Srinagar's tourist-heavy areas, with serene views and gentle water. Hamid bhai, the proprietor, knows Kashmir's tourism and hospitality business well, and his warmth, integrity, and care stood out. He thoughtfully shaped our trip, taking us to lesser-known corners and sharing his deep knowledge of local geography, culture, and history, which made each place more meaningful. I'd highly recommend it for an authentic, peaceful Kashmiri experience beyond the usual tourist trail, and I'll definitely return.

Haamid bhai's personal care stood out throughout our stay. When we ran into challenges outside our control, he made sure our kids still got to see the snow mountains, a memory they'll cherish. He also helped us shop locally and find authentic products at fair prices. He grew up in Kashmir and knows the hidden gems, scenic routes, and good places to stay. With that local expertise, he carefully planned our six-night journey, and every suggestion led to a memorable experience with breathtaking views and cozy accommodations. We spent two nights at Golden Flower Heritage Houseboat on Nigeen Lake, one of the most memorable parts of our Kashmir trip. The peaceful, beautiful lake was a relaxing contrast to the much busier Dal Lake. The houseboat has lovely heritage charm, delicious food, warm hospitality, and a calm atmosphere that made us feel at home. Highly recommended for families wanting a heartfelt, authentic Kashmir experience.

The houseboat was calm, comfortable, and beautiful, with an impeccable room, food, view, and service. It was definitely worth the money. Our whole trip through Jammu and Kashmir went smoothly with Captain Hamid, who drove us around Srinagar, Gulmarg, Sonamarg, and Pahalgam. He was a kind, helpful guide and showed us around the beautiful state.
