The calm, lovely setting on the Vanda House Boat made our stay feel special, and the service was top-notch. Irshad was especially helpful, making sure we had what we needed and treating us with real warmth. We had an incredible time there. If you're after a comfortable houseboat stay with welcoming hospitality, I'd recommend booking here.

Too many rules for guests, and the caretaker came across as aggressive and unprofessional. The food was poor too, with no proper serving, salad, or roti. I wouldn't stay here again.

We had planned on just one night, but ended up extending for two more days. Staying on a houseboat was such a lovely experience. If you're visiting Srinagar or Kashmir and skip a houseboat stay, you'll miss something special. Great hospitality and a five-star experience for us. :)

From the balcony, you get a lovely sunset over Nigeen lake. The quiet surroundings and WiFi also make it a good spot to work from home, and Jio coverage is solid. The family running the property is wonderful, and the food is home-style and fairly priced.

I was the only guest that day, so Nadeem kept me company and we chatted about the place, the boathouse, and plenty of other things. He also quickly arranged a cab when I needed one. I felt right at home, and I'm thinking of coming back with my whole family. The property has a gorgeous view, and the food was awesome. I suggest giving it a try and enjoying your stay.
